What This Knife Is Built For
The Ovis Hunter 2.0 Camo is the same all-purpose hunting knife as the standard Ovis Hunter, with Cerakote camo blade patterns. It handles field dressing, quartering and general processing.

Why the Blade Geometry Matters
A slight trailing point and an upswept tip give the 4.25 in blade a long, usable belly for skinning and slicing, plus a fine point for controlled cuts around joints and hide. It’s CPM MagnaCut at 0.090 in thick, paired with a 3D contoured G10 handle that fills the hand when the work gets messy.
Why Choose It
Choose it over the standard Ovis Hunter if you want a camo blade. The knife itself is the same. Pair it with the Mountain Caper for caping and tight detail work. It’s heavier than the skeleton and scalpel models at 3.3 oz (knife only), and that weight is what buys the full handle.

What Kestrel customers are saying

Being a professional guide and a son of a ranch butcher, I've skinned a lot of animals and a knife that can hold a sharp edge is a must. I've used many brands of knives and Kestrel Knives are the only one I've found that can hold a sharp edge the longest. I bought my first EDC about 3 years ago and skinned 2 elk and a 1,200 lbs buffalo with it so far and still haven't had to use my wet stone to resharpen it.

What a great knife. These are the lightest weight knives I’ve ever seen and truly a necessity for the backcountry hunter.

The trip was amazing, man. I live in northern BC, Fort Nelson, a couple hours’ drive and 5 of our horses. 20 km trip into base camp, and day rides from there. 9 days on horses, 180+ km between boots and horseback. On the 7th day I shot my ram.The knife was amazing. My dad had his Havalon and I had my Kestrel. His Havalon handle snapped on him, and we finished the caping with my Kestrel
